... you knew you were getting close to Berry Lake when you smelled the mint fields along Blueberry Road (now Hwy R)??? I've seen some of our best fall colors from that old bridge. I remember when Grandma & Grandpa Bains had us busy with chores to help earn our keep for the summer and on our break we would walk to Sunny's for a treat! Also signing Mrs. Ganelle's (spelling?) book every summer when with Andrea Reiland. Now, enjoying the cottage with my sister and her family. It's one of the best places on earth!

Yes I remember Mrs. Gunnell fondly and her kids Jeanette & Ken. So you stay in their old cottage? Rent/own? Thanks

My sister Lisa, JD and dearest friend Lis, DDS and I are very interested in renting a cottage next summer. Is Reiland's available to rent or do you know of any others? I would appreciate any information you may have. Thank you

Hey all, is the water level really that high? We are on the shallow end of the lake so we were excited to hear that. We might be heading up to Berry for the 4th. Cheers!

I loved when Ladies of the Lake would meet at a different cottage, every other week. We’d get a tour of the cottage, have cocktails, and then go out to a restaurant for lunch. Those were the good ‘ol days!

Running up and down the path between Grandma Baldwins and Greywood visiting all the neighbors, Bains', Reilands now Hacketts. Learning to slalom ski around the smooth side of the lake.
