Playing Bridge suddenly we see a cloud of smoke. Lo the Woods is on fire over on the West end of the lake. In a moment the forest is alive with men. "Ye Gods" how a common enemy makes all men Brothers. So a great danger tends to pulverize all social lumps. Here’s some info that may jog someone’s memory: My husband, Dennis Cox, remembers hearing about a ‘hotel’ or ‘inn’ that he thinks is now Ken Gruber’s place. I think that your husband has known my brother Jerry since high school. I also think that our Dad had a resort at Green Gables in the 1940's. Jerry was born in Antigo which isn't far from there.

Are you talking about the Green Gables in Okauchee Wisconsin? If so, there's a home video on YouTube that shot some film there back in the late '40s. Check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4MYwptKW4g&list=HL1396297359&feature=mh_lolz
